Hold onto your butts! Directed by Steven Spielberg, the iconic Jurassic Park film focused on an action-packed family adventure in a dinosaur theme park. The idea for the film originally came from the Jurassic Park novel by Michael Crichton. Although the original film adaptation was released in 1993, and it has since led to multiple sequels, including the recent Jurassic World. Most of the filming locations for Jurassic Park took place on the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian islands. The story follows the owner of Jurassic Park, John Hammond, who calls upon several scientists to review the park. Paleontologist Alan Grant arrives, along with paleobotanist Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm, a specialist in chaos theory. Lex and Tim Murphy, the grandchildren of the Jurassic Park founder, come along for the ride and set out on an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. When a programmer decides to jump ship, shut down all power to the park, and sell dinosaur samples to other corporations, things start to get a little crazy. With dinosaurs roaming freely, suddenly everyone has to fight for survival and escape from the dangerous island.
