It is a 1990 American psychological horror drama miniseries based on the 1986 novel by the author Stephen King. The story revolves around the Lucky Seven or The Losers Club, a group of outcast kids who discover Pennywise the Dancing Clown and vow to kill him by any means. The miniseries occurred in two different periods - the first period is when The Losers club first confronted Pennywise as kids in 1960, and the second period is when they returned as adults in 1990 to kill him a second time after he reappeared.
Did you know that Stephen King didn’t have a hand when the miniseries was created? Stephen King revealed in an interview that he was hands-off in the making of It. His lack of involvement in the film is very surprising and he was asked if given the chance, if he would participate in the movie’s creation, King said he would still be hands-off.
