It: Chapter Two is a 2019 American horror film and a sequel to the 2017 It film. Both chapters are based on the 1986 novel by Stephen King of the same title. It: Chapter Two is set in 2016, or 27 years after the events of the first film and it is the second installment of the It film series. The story follows the lives of the Losers Club reuniting from their various lives. Although they have been apart for a very long time, they have never forgotten the terror that they experienced together 27 years ago from Pennywise the dancing clown.
Did you know that the film’s final battle scene was filmed in a sound stage water tank filled with 180,000 gallons of heated, filtered, and chlorinated water? The filming of the finale showdown between the adult Losers Club and Pennywise required some coordination. The actors even had to deal with a dark water tank that was 75 feet wide and filled with 180,000 gallons of water - double the amount of water required to fill a large inground swimming pool.
