Happy Days T-Shirts

Feeling nostalgic for the good old days of the Americana '50s?  We do too with these great Happy Days t-shirts.

Happy Days spoke of a time when things were cool and politics did not drive you nuts.  However it had its weirdness.  Ever notice how all the songs from the Arnold's jukebox sounded somewhat similar?  That's because rather than play the original 1950s recordings they re-recorded them all with an actor named Anson Williams doing the vocals (cough cough Potsie Webber cough cough).  Good use of resources.  The network originally wanted it set in the 1920s but reason prevailed.

Believe it or not but Monkees singer Micky Dolenz almost got the part of Fonzie.  Some people thing the show was developed as a reaction to American Graffit but in truth it was already being worked on.  This show is an icon of American culture and Fonzie's jacket hangs in the Smithsonian.

Of course this show has a pivotal moment in Western culture when it coined the phrase Jump the Shark.  Celebrate this show with on of these great Happy Days t-shirts today.
