Jayne comes in all shapes and sizes in this Firefly T-shirt design. Why does Jayne replace the original Vitruvian man? Well the t-shirt design parodies the Leonardo da Vinci sketch, the model of which was Vitruvius, a Roman artilleryman (among other skillsets). The sketch was originally an illustration of Vitruvius' writings on the dimensions of the human body. In one go, the design alludes to Jayne and Vitruvius' shared occupation, and also makes the assertion that Jayne is a moral and physical model for mankind. Go Jayne!
