Art-rock heroes Yeah Yeah Yeahs may be on hiatus but their music is still alive in the hearts of hipsters all over the world. Formed by Karen O in New York City at the dawn of the millennium, the post-punk band is best known for their song, Maps. All three of Yeah Yeah Yeahs albums have been nominated for Grammy Awards, with It’s Blitz being named the number two album of 2009 by Spin Magazine. If you miss Karen O’s haunting voice and awesome bangs, she has been working as a solo artist. The track The Moon Song from the Spike Jonze film Her, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song.
