Blondie was a rock band originally helmed by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band certainly generated tons of buzz in the new wave and punk scenes from the mid seventies, eventually hitting major success with the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. With major singles like "Call Me", "Atomic" and "Heart of Glass", the band's unique sound carried influences from disco, reggae and pop genres.
