Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is an American science fiction comedy film starring the two slacker friends Ted Logan and Bill Preston. The story revolves around the two dim-witted high school students Bill and Ted who are struggling to finish their history paper. But with the help of a time machine, they were able to pass their History Class with flying colors through the help of a man from the future named Rufus. The film first premiered in 1989 with a low budget of $6.5 million and a box office success of $40 million. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews and the film even had two sequels: Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey and Bill & Ted Face the Music.
