Aquaman is a classic comic book character created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger and first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in November 1941. In the original comics, Aquaman was portrayed as the King of the Seven Seas and the ruler of Atlantis, possessing the ability to communicate with sea life and superhuman strength and agility. He was a founding member of the Justice League of America and was often portrayed as a hero who used his powers to protect both the surface world and the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.
