I've never actually eaten at
White Castle, but apparently it's huge on the East Coast. My friends out there tell me it's like instead of eating one big, good burger you get six small, steamed burgers. Not sure about the appeal.
Why bring the t shirts in, then you ask? Well, the logo is cool, and it played a major part in
Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, another movie that far exceeded my expectations. Kind of like how Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was sucky fun. Also it appears White Castle attracts weirdos more than any other chain. I don't know if this is because of the movie or if the weirdness inspired the movie, but check out this story about
three couples getting married at a White Castle.
According to this
fast food nutrition fact site White Castle has the second largest serving size of large fries, yet somehow has the most trans fat of all of them. Another first I guess. It wouldn't be so impressive if it weren't for the fact that Dairy Queen has the largest serving size with less than half the trans fat. Makes me glad I never watched
Fast Food Nation.
