Episode V, the Empire Strikes Back, is my favorite of the series. Happy endings bug me. Not that I don't like them, but I don't think they really satisfy my desire to see human (or alien) drama and interaction. Also, I think this is Darth Vader at his best. He gets kind of soft in the last movie, but here he rules.

I have a hard time doing a Star Wars description without linking a Robot Chicken skit, and this time I am not even going to try. Here is a great one from Robot Chicken Star Wars II where Luke considers what life would be like with Vader as his father. Hilarious.

Doing all this Empire research is making me want to go back and play Lego Star Wars all again. Really, given the astronomical list of things I need to get done I don't think it should even be on my radar, but I am oddly pulled towards it. I must resist.
