Classic Spiderman at it's best. I like Peter Parker. He does good and is driven by guilt over his responsibility for Uncle Ben's death.
By the way, did they really have to make Sandman the man who killed Ben in the last, Emo Peter Parker movie? Wasn't the whole point of Spiderman that Peter let the man go who killed Ben? So if he finds out it was someone else wouldn't that take away some of his motivation? Speaking of Spiderman 3, didn't anyone learn from the horror that was done to Batman and realize you don't need three villains in a movie? The Venom story alone should have been worthy of a movie by itself. Also Eddie Brock is supposed to have been a muscle head prior to the suit. Why make him out to be yet another skinny pretty boy? And Spiderman thought the returned Green Goblin (Hobgoblin, actually) was Norman Osborne and had a horrible moment when he finally unmasks him and realizes it's Harry. That could have been so cool if it had done right. Plus, a snowboard? Could Sam Raimi try any harder to seem relevant to the kids? Give it up and stick to the story man. I thought Sandman was decently done, although as usual they butchered the origin story. He was always a sympathetic character, but Flint Marko did not have a daughter.
Like everything else I like in this universe,
Peter Parker is yet another black metal band. I looked at their video for about 20 seconds, just long enough to realize in spite of calling themselves black metal they look, act, and dress like white college hipsters.
Anyway, Japanese letters makes this shirt even better. It's a super soft t shirt, which is why it is more expensive.
