I love these movies. Not George Romero, of course, but still quality. My old roommate Olga used to watch me play, and when the movie came out we saw it together. Afterward she said watching the movie was just like watching me play the game. Also the game used to freak me out, but nothing like how freaked out I used to get playing one of the scariest games of all time, Silent Hill. Man did that game weird me out. It was the freaking radio that did it, I think.
I found a few different Top 10 Scariest Video Game lists, but this one from Joystick Division most closely matches my own. My only issue is they put Resident Evil as scarier than Silent Hill 2. Given that Silent Hill 1 was terrifying me and didn't even make this list, I'm kind of glad I never really played it (actually, I bought it for my Xbox, played it for 10 minutes, had the radio and music start up, and put it away. I am a wuss).
