After looking at these attractive teenagers (no nerds in sight) was I the only one rooting for the Russians?  Most teenage 80's movies had at least one token nerd.  Offensive.  

This movie was hilarious if only for the fact that America is possible the worst country in the world to try to take over and hold with an occupying force.  The US has a per capita rate of 90 guns per 100 citizens.  In other words, 9 out of 10 American are potentially armed.  The next highest country in the world is Yemen, with a measly 61 guns per 100 citizens.  Pathetic.  Once again USA is number 1.
