I have been trying to eat healthier. I have cut out a lot of red meat and most fast food (somehow whenever I drive to LA I end up eating lunch at a Jack in the Box in Kettleman City. Not sure why). But bacon is something I cannot seem to give up.

I think I just found my all time favorite link. It is a report by the accurately described best scientist ever (suck it, Einstein) about how Bacon is good for you. Too bad the article was written by the Onion.

Wow. There is a ton of cool stuff that is bacon related. Check out this new soft drink flavor, Diet Coke with Bacon. Honestly, I think I would eat rocks and gravel if they were bacon flavored.

Traditionally at this point I would link something horrible about bacon, but I think that would just depress me so I will hold off on it. We all know how bad it really is for you. I don't think any of us would appreciate having it thrown into our faces.

Uh oh. I was just reviewing this and decided to look to see if I could find anything on Kettleman City. I found an article about the high number of birth defects in that town, believed for the most part to be due to the local toxic waste dump. I think I am not going to eat lunch there any more. In fact, I think I will be driving about 120 mph past there, if you know what I mean.
