I am a huge
Lego fan. Like all nerds, I collect weird crap and Legos were my first (started at age 3). Legos were also my best defense against my father coming into my room. He never wore shoes in the house, and stepping on Legos barefoot is like stepping on nails, so I would have a defensive perimeter in my room that over the years disinclined him to ever come in. The only problem I had at that point is land mines and radioactive waste would not have dissuaded my mother from coming in at any time.
There are a million cool Lego videos out there. Here is one that combines three favs: Lego, Star Wars, and Weird Al Yankovic. Yes, it's Al's song
Yoda done in Lego. Awesome.
The one thing I always found frustrating about Lego was the lack of decent weapons. If they did military models that would be so cool. How about an M1A1 or Bradley? I did find this site that sells Lego compatible modern assault
weapons. Very cool stuff IMO.
By the way, the Lego/Firday the 13th combination is not really an original concept. Check out this
video. Pretty good. I like the guy getting his head shoved into the power transformer and electrocuted.
