This movie was a lot of fun, but annoying too.  I sometimes catch myself wishing I could go back to the 80's, but I think it would be too much fun to actually happen.  Also, don't know if I want to deal with my family back then, so I think I will remain safely in 2010.  

By the way, check out this article featuring Carl Sagan and Einstein if you want to learn about time travel.  

Wow.  Weird night.  I did a search for Hot Tub and naturally it is a band.  The weird thing is Hot Tube is a girl band from Oakland, my home town, that calls its music style Punk/Crunk/Funk.  Not sure what that is supposed to mean, but I checked out one of their videos and I can honestly say it defies description.  Also, I think I have seen a couple of these girls on Lakeshore, so it's just a huge steaming pile of weird coincidences.  Also, for background on their page they chose a screen shot from Missile Command, one of my favorite games from childhood.  To this day I still use a track ball thanks to that game.  

Even weirder, Time Machine is apparently a service that sells supplies and equipment to tattoo studios.  Given that I have been know to default to tattoo images when I have nothing to write, that is just all around strange (no time machine related tattoo images that I could find, BTW).

I suppose I should talk about Chernobyl or Russia.  I found this creepy trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R:Shadow Of Chernobly, a sandbox style FPS.  Somehow the old abandoned amusement park thing always creeps me out.  Yet another holdover from my regrettable time spent playing Silent Hill.  

My mom took a trip to Russia a few years ago and told me everything I had ever heard about Russian toilet paper and toilets was absolutely true.  She also said walking on the streets in Moscow is seriously taking your life in your hands.  Those drivers do not mess around.  I have a friend from Russia who goes back every year or so who says it's not really all true, but I think he is just used to it.
