This movie freaked me out. Neca makes a replica of the puzzle box that looks pretty real, and I used to see it at their booth at a trade show I go to. I got more creeped out by that replica than almost anything else in my life (except for mimes. Learn the words, you creepy bastards. It would do my heart good if you all joined the International I Hate Mimes Club). I still don't want to be around that thing. The actor who played Pinhead, Doug Bradley, is one of the few actors to play the same horror character in multiple movies. Turns out he was childhood friends with Clive Barker, the author who wrote "The Hellbound Heart", the book Hellraiser was based on. He also does vocals for Cradle of Filth occasionally, and is a die hard Liverpool Football Club (that's soccer to all the ignorant Americans) fan. He also applied most of the Pinhead appliances himself, and was credited as an assistant makeup artist
