I spoke for a while on a t shirt description about living most of my life without falling into the trap of wishing to be part of the cool crowd, but I have to admit the people who design these shirts are the cool cats I wish I could hang out with. Of course, they all look to be pretty nerd cool, so maybe there is hope.
Anyway, Gama Go is well known in my area, and I have liked the shirts for a long time. I ran into them at a trade show and decided to bring in some of their shirts. This brand is my first endeavor into expensive t shirts, and I hope it works well and you buy them. I am a little freaked out about charging so much for shirts so I am going to eat some profit and offer them up to you for less than I should be charging.
This style of art is known as pop surrealism, which is a current mainstay of underground comics, punk, and hot-rod street culture (whatever that is supposed to be). I found this interesting book on pop surealism, and if I ever got a break from writing t shirt commentary I am going to read it. At least I can claim I have a book on my list that isn't science fiction.
