Comic books and nerds go together like World of Warcraft and no life. If you are proud to be a nerd how better to tell the world than with a CD or Marvel t shirt?
Uh oh. I just heard that Disney has successfully acquired Marvel in its entirety. I don't know what this bodes for Marvel Comics, but if I see Tinkerbell or Mickey featured anywhere in a Spiderman or Iron Man movie or comic I am going to go berserk. Is there no where I can go to get away from that giant rodent? Disney has a bad habit of making stuff child friendly, so look forward to Wolverine not extending his claws so much or Frank Castle buying a Tazer. Ugh.
Speaking of Disney, it has been stated that Mickey and Minnie have been "just friends" ever since 1928. How backed up must Mickey be? Of course the idea of a mouse 50 times bigger than the world's biggest rat wearing a dress, high heels, and a bow with long eyelashes always struck me as odd, but to each his own.
