This school reminded me of my hellacious high school, complete with all the jocks and pretty people running around, so it would not surprise me to know there was a Hellmouth under my Alma Mater. I spent many a day wishing a giant pit would open up and swallow up my high school and everyone in it.

Anyway, this is a cool one for the Buffy fans. Turns out Torrance High School is the real school they used to be Sunnydale HS in the show. When I lived in Southern California Torrance was a town that you spent time in under protest. Not that it was bad, just that it really had nothing going on. Not near the beach, Hollywood, or anything remotely cool.

I dated a girl from Torrance for a while, until she got back together with her ex boyfriend. Not that I'm bitter.

Apparently Torrance is the home town for Chuck Norris. Kind of cool, but that whole southern part of LA county always kind of bugged me.
