Great shirt for those who want to be more understated in their appreciation of
The Big Lebowski.
I used to live in Venice, Ca. It was probably my best living situation when I was in LA. I shared a house 10 blocks from the beach with a very, very hot girl (
who is now a great friend of mine but for whom I would probably drop everything for if she showed the slightest interest) and another good friend of mine
from England. He had the power with women (
long hair, rugged looks, English accent, and an ex pro BMX rider. It was sick the number of women he pulled in) and that would drive me nuts.
At one point he started seriously dating a girl who was at the time (
no joke) a
Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. She acted as one of the
American characters. I won't name the season or color in order to protect her privacy (
she has since moved on in her life) but she was pretty hot. What was annoying was that he and I shared a wall in the house and they were both "vocal" in their affections for each other, if you know what I mean. I would be sitting there playing
XCom (
or worse, trying to sleep) and they would be caterwauling three feet away. What freaked me out the most was every once in a while they would suddenly stop and both start giggling, then start up again a couple minutes later. I was like "
What the hell just happened??"
Every once in a while her whole team would do some appearance and she would drag my roommate along. He would get bored as hell and so dragged me along as well (
I didn't mind as I was madly in love with one of her costars, who ignored me completely. I'd like to say it was because she was something of a minor celebrity, but since about 100% of the women I met in LA ignored me I can't really blame "the Industry") for entertainment. The weirdest thing would be to see her in costume on stage being a
positive role model in front of hundreds if not thousands of
screaming kids, knowing that in a few hours I would have to listen to her getting her freak on.
Surreal.
But I digress.
This shirt does indeed have a lot of appeal for me, and odds are I will probably keep one for myself.
