This shirt description is something of a first for me, as I have actually found music I have heard about before rather than some garage band from San Antonio or whatever. Oh! Gravity is the sixth album from Switchfoot. I'm not exactly a fan, although they are not bad, but just impressed that I have heard of them. Very cool.
One of my all time favorite quotes (and yet I have never found the opportunity to use it in real life) is Gravity is a harsh mistress from the Tick. Of course, true fans will recognize it from the Tick comics rather than the TV show or cartoon. Not that those shows are bad, but the comic was the best.
Actually, I really do love the Tick comics. Where else will you find comic stories with names like Night of a Million Billion Ninjas or Day After the Night of a Million Billion Ninjas.
Also, it should be apparent that I consider villains to be the critical element of any superhero, and the Tick has some of the best. The Chainsaw Vigilante, the Red Scare, and Chairface Chippendale to name a few. Awesome. God I wish I could be called the Chainsaw Vigilante. Or Chainsaw anything. Just the word alone is cool.
Anyway, I digress from this shirt, but whenever I hear the word gravity I think about the Tick. Sorry, but sometimes my mind is like a freight train with a lot momentum pushing it.
