I'm still not sure what I was thinking when I ordered this shirt, except when it came out I had a pretty strong thing for Geena Davis, which is kind of weird in that at the time most of my friends had a thing for Winona Rider.  I think I am the only nerd who never had a thing for Goth girls, which was the role Winona played in this movie.  

This was Tim Burton's first movie after Pee Wee's Big Adventure, which is a movie I will be stocking t shirts for if I can find them.  For that matter, anything Tim Burton belongs on my site, so maybe I did have a logical reason for including Beetlejuice.  

Betelgeuse is how the name is spelled in the movie and, for the record, is a star 640 light years from Earth.  Not sure if there is a connection, but interesting.  Here is a picture from the Nasa site http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap090805.html
