Description
 
The alien from the series is described as an endoparasitoid extraterrestrial species.  What's funny is calling it an alien.  In almost all cases (except for some of the later Alien Vrs Predator movies) the alien was encountered on planets other than earth, making the humans as much an alien as Alien was.  Who knows?  Maybe LV-426 was actually the homeworld of the aliens, and they infected the alien space craft after it crash landed there.  That would make us the aliens, and the Alien the noble native defending it's home.  

Of course, when I hear the word alien I am constantly tempted to add -ation to the end of it.  Not for the mediocre movie and bad TV series, but for my own chronic sense of alienation I have struggled with all my life.  It was really bad when I was in high school.  I felt like I was trapped in a bubble that kept all forms of human contact out and just let me watch them having fun while I wallowed in lonely miserableness.  Some days it felt like I couldn't even talk to you humans.  

These days things are much, much better.  Not that I feel an less alienated.  It's just that I have channeled those feelings into a much more positive direction.  I still feel alienated, but I have taken that alienation and turned it into a firm belief in my own superiority.  Sure, I'm not like you humans.  I'm better in many, many ways.  None of you are worthy of interacting on my level or even licking my shoes.  

LOL.  I'm not that bad, really.  If you want to see if you are alienated you can take this alienation test I found.  Nothing like skipping years and years of psychotherapy and self-diagnosing your problems with a 30 question test.  Of course, I think a more relevant test would be this one to see if you are an alien hybrid.  I found another test to see if someone else was an alien, but it kind of sucked.

Of course, if you want to see what is effectively a documentary on figuring out if someone else is an alien or not, watch Save the Green Planet, one of the best Korean films I have seen.  Really creative, and if you follow the instructions at least you will find a legitimate excuse to shave your friends head.

This shirt is the latest addition to my collection. The Alien shirt is comfy and the only way I'll have a xeno anywhere near my chest.

The logo reminds me of my first encounter with the infamous alien dinner scene. I was about 10 and my parents were in the other room on a rare occasion when they let us eat on TV trays. My folks were ultra conservative and must have mistakenly left the channel on HBO or were unaware of the space horror genre. I sat there transfixed by shock and a TV tray loaded with baked penne as Ian Holm writhed, convulsed and eventually popped a baby xeno out of his chest. Needless to say, it was quite a while before I had pasta and sleep devoid of nightmares.

Flashbacks withstanding, a great looking and comfortable shirt that reminds us that in the clothes hamper, noone can hear you scream.
